The Blue Sea is a large inland sea that rests almost entirely within the Empire of Threforfar. Rain water from the Westworld Mountains, Grey Mountains, and Flattop Mountains as well as several rivers flow into it and it dominates the trade and landscape of the northwestern part of the Empire. A few small islands dot the sea. The western shore is mostly wide expanses of sand and large reefs, teeming with life, while the eastern shores are mostly swallowed by Buham's Swamp. It touches the Great Forest and the Flattop Mountains to the north and the Grey Wastes and Grey Mountains to the south. There are rumors of pirates who live out in the sea, but, most likely, all a traveller will find are fishermen. |
