The Ranger Whistle
Rangers who aid the Druids of the Northern Woods are rewarded with a carved, wooden whistle and taught the secrets of husbandry. This small whistle helps with the control of animals. It is about six inches long and very narrow, with a few holes for fingers to cover.

With their husbandry skill, a Ranger may summon the following:

Swarm

Gather up a swarm of angry, stinging and biting insects to come to your aid.The swarm will attack all the monsters in the room, biting and stinging them constantly.  A swarm does not last long, and they will quickly fly off.

Falcons

This large falcon from Threforfar is used by Rangers to deliver objects to other Rangers and their allies. The falcon will 'fly {object} to {player}' if the object is light enough to carry. A Ranger may also tell it to 'serve {player}' and it will leave to serve its new master.

Foxes

When a Ranger let's out a short barking call on their whistle, a helpful, friendly fox comes to take away all of the Ranger's empty bottles and recyclable containers. The fox will return shortly with a bag of gold for the items value. After that the fox scurries off into the woods again.
