Once Basif has deemed you worthy, you will be judged by the Highlord before you receive your Ranger vest.

    The deep green vest, the colour of the lush forests of the land, is a symbol of a Ranger's devotion to Threforfar. As a protector of the country, this vest is the Ranger's most prized possession. They wear it with pride.

    The Ranger vest is the Ranger's guild object it. It contains the guild's chatline, a Ranger's emotions, and all of the help docs for the guild. (It is recommended that every Ranger read these docs as they are responsible for knowing what is in them.)  Additionally, with the Ranger vest, the Ranger will gain the following basic skills:
 

Build a fire	A Ranger's fire is most useful. It is necessary for cooking meat, brewing drinks, and making smores.
Douse fire	You  can  douse a fire to put it out. (Even the ashes from a fire are rumored to have uses. Be warned, never douse a fire by peeing on it.)
Whittle Objects	Rangers can whittle useful things or silly carvings just for fun.
Strike	Rangers who have received proper martial training can strike in combat with deadly skill.
Astrike	This is a more powerful form of strike, used by the Avatars.
